R.I.P Tony Scott

The World over people associated with cinema and/or those who love cinema were in shock when they heard the untimely demise of Tony Scott today (19th August 2012 ). Tony Scott was the younger brother of Ridley Scott. The director of British nationality wanted to be a painter at first, but then he started directing commercials for his elder brother’s production.He broke into the A league of Hollywood with his second film Top Gun, which made Tom Cruise an International star. He repeated history with Tom in the lead and Jerry Bruckheimer and Don Simpson as producers for Days of Thunder. Though his movies were not critically acclaimed most of them did very well at the B.O like Crimson Tide, Enemy of the State, Man on Fire etc. As a tribute to Tony Scott we present to you a short film, Boy and Bicycle directed by Ridley Scott in 1962, before he was on his way to become a feature filmmaker.
