S.S.Rajamouli has definitely been the most prolific Telugu filmmaker in recent times who also has had an extremely enviable track-record.After the mega blockbuster Magadheera while it would have been easy for him to go on to make another big hero entertainer, he surprised by doing a relatively smaller film, Maryada Ramanna with Sunil as the male lead ( giving a fresh lease of life to Sunil as a hero who has been more popular as a comedian ). And now Rajamouli is ready with his Telugu-Tamil bilingual film called Eega in Telugu and Naan Ee in Tamil. The film has been in the news from the time it was announced since it has a Eega/Ee i.e house fly playing the main protagonist in the film.
With an interesting star cast comprising of Nani, Samantha and Sudeep, the film is a big budget social fantasy film with a lot of focus apparently having been paid to the special effects. The music is by M.M.Keeravani and Senthil Kumar is the DOP while Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor. Produced by Sai Korrapati, the film is apparently scheduled for release on 5th April, 2012.
