Today we bring to you a short film Two, directed by Ray. This particular short film was commissioned by the US Public Television as part of a trilogy of short films from India under the banner of Esso World Theater.
Ray was asked to make the film in English with the backdrop of Bengal and he decided to do away with words and made it as a silent film, a tribute to a genre which he loved very much. Two is a tale of one up manship between a rich and poor kid. Made in 1964 its a wonderful film with a duration of under 15 minutes.
